Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al-Saduq narrated from his father, from Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim, from his father, from Al-Nawfaly, from Al-Sakoony, from Imam Sadiq(pbuh), from his father that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) said:
-إن الله تبارك وتعالى أهدى إلي وإلى أمتي هدية لم يهدها إلى أحد من الامم، كرامة من الله لنا
قالوا: وما ذاك يا رسول الله؟
-قال: الافطار في السفر، والتقصير في الصلاة، فمن لم يفعل ذلك فقد رد على الله عز وجل هديته
- Indeed, Allah, Blessed and Exalted, has granted to me and to my nation(ummah) a gift which He has not granted to any other nation — a special honor from Allah to us.
They asked: O Messenger of Allah, what is that?
- He said: Breaking the fast during travel and shortening the prayer. Whoever does not accept this has rejected Allah’s gift.
